I am honored to be part of your decision to begin recovery from disordered eating which includes guilt and shame around food, avoidance of social activities because of anxiety related to eating and body image, destructive thoughts and feelings about weight and delaying doctor appointments due to of weight stigma.
Together we embark on a journey guiding you towards optimal health by healing your connection to food, movement and body outside of deprivation and worry.
Whether we meet in person at the office or from the comfort of your home via Telehealth, we will explore your movement and body so you may live a life of freedom.

Acknowledgement of Privilege and the Commitment to Do Better
I operate in this world as a thin, white, cis-gendered, heterosexual, able-bodied individual which provides me with much unearned privilege. Because I cannot pretend to know what it’s like to experience life in your body, I offer empathy, dignity and respect to all bodies regardless of size/shape, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, and dis/ability. I am always learning, therefore welcome feedback concerning any uninformed, assumed or privileged-clouded interactions.
“Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better.” ~ Maya Angelou
For our work together, this means:
- Agency with food, movement, rest, and healthcare choices
- Acknowledgement that factors such as healthcare access and quality, education access and quality, social support, economic stability, and the surrounding built environment affect your well being more than intentional food and exercise choices
- Acknowledgement that it’s not realistic or helpful to expect linear or consistent progress
